JOHN RIEDY

John Riedy has been a fixture of the Bobby Riggs pickleball community for the past 4.5 years.  Over that time, he has developed a unique playing style that combines power with spin, sprinkled with ankle breaking deception earning him the apt nickname, the Spinja.  However, he is probably most well known for his extreme slice return of serve.  With his DUPR rating of over 5.4, John recently won his first PPA Senior Pro gold medal in mens doubles.  He was drafted by the Coachella Valley Scorpions pickleball team in the National Pickleball League for senior pros, where he had a winning percentage of over 75%.  

John's journey into teaching pickleball began three years ago when he started teaching the African refugee students of the Seeds of Hope Academy. His experience and competitive nature combined with his unabashed love of the game should make him the perfect addition to our world class coaching team.
